L’ association Haïtienne des Medias en Ligne (AHML) a appris, avec beaucoup de peine, la nouvelle du passage pour l’au-delà du mentor et illustre Herbert Widmaïer dit Herby, Fondateur de Radio Métropole.
Herbert Widmaïer est considéré comme l’un des pionniers de la radiodiffusion en Haïti, avec sa station de Radio lancée en 1970. L’un de ses rêves les plus chers, pour le secteur de l’audio-visuel a été la formation de l’Association Nationale des Médias Haïtiens (ANMH).
L’association Haïtienne des Médias en Ligne (AHML) adresse ses sympathies à la famille Widmaïer, au personnel, aux auditeurs et téléspectateurs de Radio Télé Métropole.
