    Des journalistes de médias en ligne, à travers le Bureau Intégré des Nations Unies en Haïti BINUH, le Haut commissariat des Nations Unies et l’Association Haïtienne des Médias en Ligne AHML ont bénéficié de deux (2) journées de formation sur les procédures spéciales et les organes conventionnels des Nations Unies pour la protection des journalistes. Une formation qui s’est déroulée du 23 au 24 septembre 2021 à Port-au-Prince.

    Le Bureau Intégré des Nations Unies en Haïti, le Haut Commissariat des Nations Unies en partenariat avec l’Association Haïtienne des Médias en Ligne, présidé par Godson Lubrun ont organisé ces deux journées de formation sur les droits humains pour des journalistes des médias en ligne. Une initiative qui vise non seulement la formation des journalistes mais aussi la promotion des droits humains en Haïti. “L’objectif est de permettre aux journalistes plus particulièrement ceux en ligne de familiariser avec les notions de base en droit de l’homme d’une part mais aussi de les permettre de se retrouver dans le réseau sur la promotion des droits de l’homme en Haïti” à martelé Aimé Mtoumba Kakolo ,le responsable de l’Unité de Monitoring des Droits de l’Homme en Haïti du Haut Commissariat des Nations-Unies. Et au final permettre à ce que ces journalistes puissent contribuer à la défense et la promotion du respect des droits de l’homme en Haïti, a-t-il fait savoir.

    Cette formation a visé également à prôner une presse qui fonctionne selon l’éthique et la déontologie du métier de journalisme particulièrement dans les médias en ligne.
    C’est la raison pour laquelle l’Association Haïtienne des Médias en ligne AHML se lanse dans cette série de formations afin de combattre certaines dérives dans le secteur “on croît beaucoup en la formation des journalistes ,on croît aussi à la professionnalisation dans la presse et sur toute la presse en ligne ” a déclaré Godson Lubrun, le Président de ladite structure.

    Désormais, 25 journalistes des médias en ligne ont été certifiés après deux journées de formation, et au reste la série va continuer selon le Président Godson Lubrun.
